Located in Anaheim Hills at the base of the Anaheim Hills Golf course, upstairs from Ando & Aston Physical Therapy Clinic, The Ando Studio offers a picturesque studio environment where people of all ages, body types and physical conditions can safely learn and practice Pilates and yoga under the supervision of experienced, certified instructors.
Whether it's perfecting your favorite sport technique, your artistic performance, or improving your general health and appearance, The Ando Studio recognizes that the crowded gym environment, jogging, or lifting weights may not be the answer for everyone. For many of us, we have tried many different approaches to health and fitness, but most of them didn't "stick". There are many different ways to exercise, and not all of them are right for everyone. At the Ando Studio we offer you alternative exercise methods that may not be the best known, but have been proven to provide desired results.
Our programs emphasize somatic education (mind/body learning) that provide improvements in body awareness, movement fluidity and improvements in physical performance that you can apply to almost any aspect of your life. At the Ando Studio you can improve your body control, movement quality (not just quantity), and mind/body awareness in a non-gym environment.
For our fitness clients, our studio environment provides a relaxing, supportive atmosphere where you can learn and practice alternative techniques for fitness. Our goal is to help you gain strength, flexiblity, and improve your coordination and balance through closely supervised exercise.
For those who are completing physical rehabilitation, our Studio provides a safe, supervised transitional or long-term exercise environment versus returning to the (relatively unsupervised) gym or their own self-directed programs.
Our Pilates instructors use the teachings of Joseph H. Pilates and current rehabilitation-based functional movement and biomechanical concepts to deliver conditioning that is designed to provide you with a fitness program that improves your functional health.
Our yoga instructors use techniques that respect the limitations that an individual may have, and don't insist that a perfect form be achieved, but do honor the improved function that the yoga exercises offer.
Our program development team also includes physical therapists, professional dancers, and personal fitness trainers. Ando Studio is a division of Ando & Aston Physical Therapy.
